| Center rails and hammer motor are mounted. I need to to futz with the rails to get the holes for the shaft to line up again. Weight is getting close, I'm basically going to have 2 lbs for the rear wedge and the hammer which I'm going to remake.

| Well, the first day of school went fairly smoothly. 3rd period gym....blah. After sitting there, waiting for the school to figure out whats its doing, we went backwards and went to 2nd period. I was actually really glad because 2nd I have choir and 4th I have english with Faligant, and I haven't great things about her. Turns out, I have 3 weeks to do district if I decide to pursue that....wonderful. Falighant doesn't seme to bad so far, she actually has a sense of humor, but that class is going to kick my butt probably. The rest of the day was orchestra, governemt and music history. Music hisotry is actually going to be a n honors class this year and it actually sounds like it mightbe difficult. Oh well, the vast majority of my classes shouldn't be a problem. English, and potentially Calc should be my only tough ones. I apologize to those who read this all the way for writing such meaningless post, but I felt that I was neglecting my xanga with my myspace and all.... | | |
| Clampy has reached that essentially done phase of construction. There a few details to be taken care of, and I'm waiting on the rx, but there really isn't anything that requires any fabrication. I never did find my mini servo, and since I'm cheap I decided I would try out an idea I came up a long time ago for a passive, spring loaded clamp. Simply driving into the other bot is all it takes. There are some obvious disadvantages to this design though. One is that it always leaves the clamp in the pathway for spinners. Also, I can't release the opponent in a controlled manner, but I think flapping the arm around or ramming into a wall will solve that. One nice advantage is that makes operating the weapon much easier. Operating the clamp and the lifter at the same can be difficult for me during a fight. If my servo turns up, I'll probably change it just because I'm slightly doubtful of this new idea.
Amazingly, it only weighs 15 oz so I can reinforce everything.

Also, I have two new additions to my bedroom wall. I finally got my Carnegie Hall poster framed and I also got my new ASODB poster framed while we were at it. Just goes to show how nerdy I am.

| Well, my wisdom teeth went smoothly yesterday. Since I know a lot of people are having it done, I'll post a report. They basically lie you down, and put some heart monitor things on your chest, they put a blood pressure sebsor on one arm and an oxygen senor in a finger. Then they put a blanket on me which was nice cuz I was cold. After that, they poored two different liquids on the back of my hand. I guess they formed an endothermic reaction because my hand got incredibly cold. Then they stuck the IV in. At first it hurt, but after the intial pain, it felt pretty wonderful. The next thing I remember was waking up and it being done. My jaw was incredibly numb afterwords, and pretty much all day after that. I had absolutley no feeling in my lower lip or chin area at all which made placing things in my mouth very difficult. Also, at one point in the day, I had blood dripping out of my mouth, and I had no idea....good thing my mom was checking on me. the first day of recovery actually isn't to bad. Your mouth is quite numb and the pain killers do their job quite effectvely. | | |
| Well guys, it had to happen. I now officially have a myspace.

I'll probably continue to use this as my main journal just because myspace sucks like that, but its there for all of those who wanted it. | | |
